The correct sequence to restart the Siebel Enterprise is:

  1. stop Siebel Application Server
  2. stop SES Tomcat
  3. stop AI Tomcat
  4. stop Gateway

Make sure that all Siebel processes are closed.

  1. start Gateway
  2. start SES Tomcat

Wait for the SES Application Container to startup (wait at least 60 seconds).

  1. start AI Tomcat
  2. start Siebel service
